Position Title: Part- Time (Day) Custodian

Salary Range: $12.58 per hour

This is a part –time position that answers to the On Site Mechanical                 Supervisor and ensures high quality fulfillment of cleaning tasks. We are         looking custodial members that have strong customer service skills and can    work successfully with other team members. This positions normal working       hours are M-F 7:30 am to 10:30 am.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Work includes regular performance of all the duties of custodial workers in      the crew.
• Day-to-day cleaning of the interior and exterior of the Buildings.
• Must be willing to operate various types of cleaning equipment including,         but not limited to: vacuums, floor scrubbers/sweepers, buffers, various             cleaning tools, and any other equipment or tools used by the                           Housekeeping Department.
• Cleans an assigned area by following schedules and company sanitation        standards to clean and disinfect rest rooms, urinals, lavatories, partitions,        waste baskets and trash cans and maintains supplies of toilet tissue, paper     towels and soap in order to provide clean and sanitary rest rooms.
• Sweeps and mops floors; dusts and cleans offices, and other work areas;        strips, waxes, and polishes floors; polishes furniture; collects and removes      waste and transports it to the proper disposal area; washes walls and              windows.
•  Must be able to work efficiently around large numbers of patrons
•  All other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and/or Experience:

Requirements

Prior experience in the New York City Fire           Department is preferred. In lieu of experience, the Supervisory Fire             Safety Director shall possess a Bachelor’s degree in Fire Science from       an approved accredited institution, and at least three (3) years                    experience as a Fire Safety Director.

Description:

•  Documentation of at least one year of verifiable Auto-Matrix EMCS                  experience or a certificate of basic Auto-Matrix EMCS training.  This                experience shall include activities related to programming,                               troubleshooting, configuration, and systems startup.
